After I changed my mentality around this "you need to be gifted" shit I've reached Supreme master in CS:GO, Diamond in Siege, and Master in OW. I was hardstuck in gold in every shooter I played, when I was like 15 or something. Regular, stable and patient work towards progress. Keep in mind, that this is not "I want just to learn to play this game", it is "I want to improve my biological characteristics". Or you can just train via ingame shooting range trying to react to appearing dummies asap and focusing exactly on your reaction time. There are several trainer games, like Aimlab or whatever they called that have multiple challenges for various aiminig aspects including reaction time. Starting with just googling out online reaction time trainers which you can play from your browser. There is a million ways of improving your reaction times. All those "gifted" cybersportsmen still rip their ass off playing 10h a day. "Duuh, everyone says that, give me another advice".Įveryone says that, because it is true and the only way. TL DR If you want to be good at it, you need to work for it.

There are lots of fundamentals you can improve but at a certain point you need to have high level spacial awareness, reaction time and the ability to process a lot of information quickly and accurately. If someone is capping out at plat playing 20 hours a week? Yea they probably can make the push, but there are a lot of people playing a lot of valorant and not seeing much. Now can a sizable fraction? yea you're probably right, but there are diminishing returns at a point for everyone. I would push back a little, not everyone is going to be able to grind to radiant.
